For audio production we now operate from Lodge Studio, Orpington
Lodge Studio was set up in 2008 and is run by Pete Miller. The studio has gone from strength to strength and now, in collaboration with JTP, we hope to bring even more artists to the studio's ever growing client list.
Some of our clients like rich analog production, whilst others prefer a more modern processed sound. It was important to us to find a recording studio that could provide the best of both worlds by utilising analog preamps as a front end to a modern Pro Tools/Logic based recording system. At Lodge Studio everything runs through the Soundcraft 800b before it hits the digital domain via industry standard Motu A/D converters. Once inside Pro Tools/Logic, we can make use of sophisticated editing processes and high track counts. A final mix can then be polished using high quality plugins, or routed back out of the sequencer into hardware outboard. Click here for kit list.
The Liveroom is spacious and acoustically treated to provide a natural sound. Acoustic panels and screens can be rearranged within the room to achieve the desired response for each particular project.
The Booth is designed with recording vocals and guitar cabinets in mind. If you need to achieve a high level of isolation whilst recording instruments or vocals simultaneously, the booth can be utilised. The booth is treated for a "dead" response.
