The New Recliners

The New Recliners are an orginal Jazz band from the South London area. They are the first band to undergo the production of a full album with JTP, and we are very honoured that they chose to work with us. Thanks Guys!
The album is the brainchild of Stephen Picton (guitar / lead vocals), and was written as a wedding gift for his wife Liz. Henceforth all the songs are dedicated to and written about her! There is a varying jazz style including some swing and late fourties style as well as a few bluesier numbers, including the JTP favourites "New Town Blues" & "Straight Down The Middle (Bags of Smoke)"

After a lot of blood, sweat and tears the album, "When In Rome" was completed late 2005, JUST in time for the wedding! The band are due to start gigging New Year 06, so look out for them...
